DECON started off as a bright spark under the name Diabetes Summit in 2014. Under the auspices of eminent personalities and ardent learners, the journey evolved into DECON, and into DECON-CVD. The challenging aspects of diabetes, maternal medicine, thyroid, and other endocrine disorders are discussed on an annual basis. Further, DECON is an excellent platform to develop professional rapport with colleagues and seniors in the field. Over the years, we have continuously improved upon every facet of medicine and lifestyle management. We conducted a #HealthForAll walkathon campaign in 2019 with regard to the World Health day by WHO. The strength expanded from 400 to 1200+ registrations since 2014. Awards are given for poster and quiz competition. Induction of Dr. Mohan’s Oration raised the standards of DECON significantly.
